The majority of Russians renounced the Patriarchal family in favor of an equitable survey

Moscow. July 7. INTERFAX – the Value of family in Russian society continues to grow, while relations within families quickly moderniziriruyutsya, according to VTSIOM, with reference to data of sociological polls of Russians.

According to the national telephone survey conducted July 1-3 among the 1,800 respondents, 62% of family of citizens (married or living together without registration) say that their family is not the sole leader, decision maker.

However, the sociologists, the men’s position is still strong: 29% recognize the fact that the main in their family – husband, and only 7% called wife.

Family life of Russians, according to the study, improved: various aspects of having spouses and people living in “civil marriage”, much more than 5-10 years ago.

Thus, among the family of people almost all satisfied with the relationship with the spouse (96%), how family decisions are made (96%), the agreement on the family budget (95%), the distribution of family responsibilities (94%).

Family life in General also satisfied with the vast majority (94%).
