MOSCOW, June 23 â€” RIA Novosti. Four Arab countries require Qatar to sever diplomatic relations with Iran, close the military base of Turkey on its territory and to eliminate the satellite TV channel “al Jazeera” reports the associated Press, citing a document at the disposal of journalists.
Earlier it was reported that Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE and Bahrain through the mediation of Kuwait handed over to the authorities of Qatar a list of its requirements to the termination of diplomatic isolation faced by the Emirate.
In addition, the compilers of the list insist that Qatar has stopped the naturalization of their citizens and expatriates already in the Emirate. From Qatar demanding the extradition of all persons wanted in four countries on charges of terrorism and provide a detailed report on the foreign funding of opposition figures.
According to the Agency, from Qatar also required the payment of compensation, the amount of which is not specified. To perform all of the requirements of Doha is given 10 days.
Earlier, on 5 June, the UAE, Egypt, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, accused Doha in support of international terrorism and ended the relationship. In the future, Mauritius, the Maldives and Mauritania also decided to terminate diplomatic ties with Qatar, and Djibouti and Jordan have reduced the level of diplomatic missions. Kuwait and Oman refrained from any action against Qatar.
