Saint-Petersburg. June 9. INTERFAX – the Nevsky district court of St. Petersburg on Friday concluded under house arrest of the fifth suspect in the criminal case on the incitement to hatred and illegal business activities of members of religious groups, reports the press service of the court.
“The court issued a decision on the conclusion of the Constance Esaulkova under house arrest until 5 August 2017,” – said in the message of the court.
Earlier in the present case, was arrested three Anastasiya Terentyeva, Sahib Aliyev, Galina Shurinova and Ivan Matsitskiy.
According to open sources, I. Muzicki is one of the three founders of the religious group “Church of Scientology of St. Petersburg” and includes in it since 1994. Along with him, the founders of the organization called Hope Shemeleva and have already arrested G Shurinova.
As noted by the investigator of the FSB, arguing in court the need to arrest the defendants, installed all persons involved in the Commission of crimes by members of religious organizations.
“Experts established that the amount of cash received income from sale of services during the period 3 January 2013 to 21 June 2016 amounted to 276 264 612 roubles that is especially large size. These funds are revenue for the implementation of Scientology programs,” – said the FSB investigator in court.
According to investigators, extremist element in the activities of Scientology is the humiliation of a people who come out of the womb of this organization. This category of people, the members of the Scientology community is defined as “the person causing trouble.” The investigator mentioned that one of the measures of pressure on these people is the publication ethical orders within the organization.
As reported a press-service of management of FSB across Petersburg and Leningrad region, on Tuesday in the premises of the “Church of Scientology of St. Petersburg”, as well as residential premises of the members of this organization were searched within the criminal case under article “illegal entrepreneurship”, “inciting hatred or enmity” and also “the organization of extremist community”.
