Moscow. May 17. INTERFAX – Issues related to protection of religious feelings, should be governed by moral levers rather than legal mechanisms, said the Commissioner for human rights in the Russian Federation Tatiana Moskalkova.
“Today there is a replacement of the moral laws. And somewhere enough moral influence, conversations, simply words from people who have authority, not legislative action. I think there is a need to include moral leverage than legal mechanisms,” said T. Moskalkova reporters on Wednesday.
She stressed that “the use of secular administrative law raises here, the opposites”. “Such an act cannot be described as a public threat,” said human rights activist.
However, she stressed that the respected journalist Vladimir Pozner, spoke on this issue. “I was on his gear and admire and respect his talent as a journalist and a politician”, – said T. Moskalkova.
