Baku. April 20. INTERFAX – Official Baku is satisfied with the position of the Islamic countries on the Karabakh conflict, said the employee of Department on public and political issues of the presidential administration of Azerbaijan Bahruz Hasanov.
“Overall we are satisfied with the position of the Islamic countries on the Karabakh conflict. Saudi Arabia and Pakistan does not recognize Armenia as a state due to its occupation of Azerbaijani territories, and Turkey, though admitted it, but not with Yerevan diplomatic relations,” said Mr Hasanov.
In addition, the representative noted that the attitude of some Islamic countries with Armenia contrary to the spirit of Islamic solidarity.
“The collaboration and cooperation of Islamic countries with Armenia, a country, destroys monuments of the Islamic heritage and culture, mosques in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, contrary to the spirit of Islamic solidarity. Cooperation with the occupier means supporting the aggressor, the justification of the seizure of Azerbaijani lands,” he said.
