The 2018 updated Mercedes-AMG GT has been spotted fully undisguised well before its expected debut, showing small changes to his style.
Introduced in 2014, the GT coupe is now approaching half of its life cycle, so is due an update; changes to the front bumper are visible. Under-the-skin updates will be more evident, however.
It is also required to obtain the most power in its standard form: from the 503bhp that the 4.0-liter turbo V8 gives currently, even if the 603bhp of Mercedes-AMG E 63 S can be reserved for the most impactful GT models.
That hot And of Class get 563bhp in the form of the base, then it is expected that the GT figure will go up more when it’s facelifted. T’And 63 has an engine with wet sump, compared with the GT’s dry-sump, so that the units are not identical and therefore do not necessarily have the same power figure.
The GT did not reach the UK until the end of 2014, then it is expected that the new model will break cover at the beginning of the next year; a debut at the Geneva motor show, is possible. Other variants are likely to be staggered through the months pass, the date range GT’s scattered planning of the variant debuts.
