Tranche in March: Poroshenko announced an optimistic forecast for the Ukrainian economy

Petro Poroshenko expects that the next tranche of financial assistance from the IMF in the amount of $ 1 billion will go to Ukraine until the end of March

Ukrainian Presidentits Poroshenko expressed expectations that the country will be able to get the next tranche of financial aid from the International monetary Fund in March, immediately after the Board of Directors of the Fund, which will be held this month, according to 112.ua.

“I promised Christine Lagarde, the managing Director of the IMF, we will receive $ 1 billion and it will happen, I hope in March”, – said Poroshenko.

Founded in March 2015, the programme of financial assistance to Ukraine for 4 years and involves a progressive reduction in size of payments. Total amount of assistance is of 17.11 billion.

Informed the Manager, Pspcasting Lagarde commended the reforms in Ukraine and said that the Ukrainian authorities do all necessary for assistance, the conditions and also added that a number of key issues in the case have been resolved.
