MOSCOW, 3 Mar — RIA Novosti. The head of the State fiscal service of Ukraine Roman Nasirov, arrested on Thursday evening on business of the Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Oleksandr Onishchenko, was hospitalized with a heart attack, the TV channel “112 Ukraine” with reference to the hospital staff.
Against Onishchenko informed it was a criminal case under article “theft of state property in especially large sizes”. According to militiamen, from January 2013 to January 2016 officials of a number of companies, including the company “Ukrgazvydobuvannya”, with the assistance Onishchenko has received public funds by selling gas domestic production at a lower price. These actions caused damage to the state amounting to about 120.5 million dollars. Later Rada has consented to the involvement of Onishchenko to criminal prosecution, his detention and arrest, before he left Ukraine. The Deputy is also suspected of treason and the preparation of destabilizing the situation in Ukraine.
Earlier the Internet-the edition “Ukrainian Pravda” reported, citing the National anti-corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), which Nasirov was arrested in Feofaniya, a clinic in Kiev during carrying out a search within investigation of the “gas business”.
“As stated by the lawyers Nasirov,.. the staff NABS suspect handed when the head of the SFS was already unconscious. Therefore, according to the lawyers, handing suspicion is illegal. After that Nasirova was taken from “Theophany” on the stretcher. Hospital staff reported that it is transported in the third case, in the intensive care unit. According to the doctor, Nasirova was diagnosed with a heart attack,” — said in a statement on the channel’s website.
In late February, the press service of the NAB said that wanted another defendant in the case of theft of state property — Sergey Svishenko. According to the anti-corruption Bureau, Svitenko was chosen the measure of restraint in the form of house arrest with the obligation to wear an electronic monitoring tool. It is noted that on 10 February he left the place of permanent residence.
