Alpina B3 with the B4 Biturbo and models were launched with a more powerful 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engines that produce 434bhp and 443lb ft of torque.
That gives the model 9bhp and by 37lb ft more than the BMW m3 and M4 models with V4 and allows you to accelerate from 0-62 mph in 4.2 seconds, with a b-3 with taking one-tenth more. The maximum speed for both models is 190 miles per hour.
Additional performance is achieved thanks to two new Alpina turbochargers and a new high-performance cooling system with external water cooler and external oil cooler, which increased capacity by more than 15 % and 35 %, respectively.
The new system helps the torque to arrive at 2000об / min; it remains at peak power to 6000 rpm. The engine comes paired with a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission in both versions, and breathes through the Akrapovič exhaust system in stainless steel that weigths less than the BMW equivelent.
On B3 with B4 and come in rear or all-wheel drive forms. B3 s is available in saloon and touring guises; the s Q4 is available in coupe or convertible bodies.
Alpina yet to confirm price and immediate availability, but both models are expected to arrive around mid-2017.
