Six years later, she won an Oscar for her role as a ballerina in Black Swan, Natalie Portman, the best actress award again – this time for her performance as First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy in Jackie.

“If you make something, you can start a Dialog that needs to be completed by the audience, so if people respond in a positive, enthusiastic way, it’s very exciting,” she tells Tom Brook.

The film looks beyond what they represented to the public. “Her image has become iconic – Andy-Warhol-silk screen version of her that we keep in our minds as the one-time queen of our country – you, as a human being, and your inner life.”
