The third generation of the Mercedes-AMG E 63, the most powerful production four-door model from AMG to date, currently on sale, priced from £78,935.
That gets You a model with all-wheel drive system 4matic+ – making it more expensive than the current BMW M5, which will cost from £73,985 – and all-wheel drive 4matic+ at a price of £88,295 and the range-topping all-wheel drive 4matic+ Issue 1 costs £106,585.
First customer delivery is expected in June.
The standard E 63 comes with AMG ride control sports suspension, 19 inch alloys, Nappa leather interior and split folding rear seat, and two 12.3 in screens entertainment system and video driver.

E 63 s adds 20-inch alloys, active dynamic engine mounts, the AMG performance seats and leather steering wheel. Issue 1 of the options to make different black 20-inch alloys, new paint, some Titanium grey detailing above the side skirts and carbon fiber trim inside.
Different packages are available. E 63 S and Version 1 is not available with AMG ceramic brakes for £6996 and AMG exhaust performance can be added to all models for an additional $ 1000.
The car was shown in Los Angeles motor show, Mercedes, claiming that it offers the biggest step forward in performance for their new models.
Speaking at a press preview of the brand La, President of Mercedes us CEO Dietmar Exler said: “E 63 is the most powerful machine that we produced, but it comes with a clever AMG cylinder management, making it the most efficient AMG. You’ll be pushed to find a car with the best ratio of power and consumption.
“This is a big step forward from one generation to the next.”

Indeed, the new e 63 is the accelerating model ever created for increasing the efficiency of the division Mercedes car with an official 0-62 mph time of 3.4 seconds in a range topping out with the all-wheel drive system 4matic+ sign.
The new e 63 also has the distinction of being the most powerful production four-door model from AMG to date.
Equipped with a twin-turbocharged car the AMG 4.0-litre V8 engine, the new e 63 will continue to be sold in two different versions. In the standard e 63 4matic and it has 563bhp and 552lb ft of torque. However, the most popular model is expected to be in the range-topping E 63 with all-wheel drive 4matic, which added turbocharger boost pressure and other power enhancement settings, allowing it to produce stout 603bhp and 626lb feet.
Recently introduced competition BMW M5 edition twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 engine offers 592bhp and 516lb ft, while the Audi RS6 plus twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 gets 597bhp and 553lb ft.
E 63 engine, which is mounted on the dynamic support in the E63 with four-wheel drive 4matic+, replaces the old twin-turbocharged 5.5-litre V8 used in the outgoing second generation of the car, providing a standard model with an extra 14bhp and 29lb and with Extra 26bhp and by 37lb ft compared with its predecessor.
For the first time, AMG is tight its 4.0-liter V8 with a pair of new twin-scroll turbocharger for use in the e 63, which claimedly improve induction improve properties and enhance throttle response.
In its most extreme state of harmony as laid down in the E63 with four-wheel drive 4matic+, this new engine develops a certain power 151.4 BHP per litre – some 16.6 HP per litre more than the engine powering the M5 and 2bhp per litre more than the RS6 on the performance of the engine.
It gives new 1880kg E 63 4matic all-wheel drive+ power-to-weight ratio 321bhp / ton, the improvement 12bhp per ton on the old 1865kg E63 with four-wheel drive 4matic, which it replaces.
The engine also features the AMG cylinder management for fuel economy on the block throttle loads. When driving in the city, four cylinders are disabled between 1000 and 3250rpm when the engine switches to comfort mode.
As in other recent AMG models, the driver can choose between four modes: comfort, sport, Sport Plus and individual, through dynamic Select on the center console. In Comfort mode, the coast feature disconnects the engine from the transmission for long periods of trailing throttle at speeds between 37-100 miles per hour to improve fuel efficiency. The fifth mode of driving, racing, E63 with 4matic all-wheel drive+.
Transmission in the new e 63 with nine-speed Speedshift MCT (Multi clutch technology) automatic, with the so-called wet-type clutch and steering wheel shift paddles. Further developments of the transmission includes a mechanical differential lock for E63 4matic and faster and has an electronic differential lock for e 63 4matic and s+.
Both models will only be available with a performance car AMG 4matic-wheel Drive+ all-wheel drive that offers a fully variable distribution of drive between front and rear wheels for the first time.
E 63 4matic and with a 0-62 mph time of 3.5 seconds. and the e 63 with all-wheel drive 4matic+is 3.4 sec. The maximum speed of both models is limited to 155 mph, although buyers can specify an optional package AMG driver who extends their maximum potential in a limited 186 mph.
Despite the use of four-wheel drive, AMG says it is to ensure the car retains its reputation for promoting oversteer when conditions allow by including the drift. Activated shift paddles, it requests the all-wheel drive system to deliver a drive solely to the rear wheels remains on until the driver turns it off.
The car’s suspension is specially tuned version of the sixth generation Mercedes-Benz E-class system air control body, is associated with a unique track width and wheel carriers. This gives E 63 greater control deflection than its predecessor.
Brakes 360mm discs with six-pot callipers front and 360 mm discs with single piston calipers in the rear for the 4matic and e 63+, while the e 63 with all-wheel drive 4matic has more than 390 mm discs at the front. Additional ceramic measuring carbon 402mm discs at the front and 360 mm at the rear.
AMG gave the new e 63 with a comprehensive package of styling, which not only makes it look sportier, but also sets it further apart from normal models E-class compared to previous generations of the car AMG.
The car in front, there is a model front grille, bumper, hood and fenders. Open arch to extend 17mm beyond those of standard E-class, E 63 wider front wheels and 20-inch wheels shod with tires 265/35 front and 295/30 (standard on the E63 with four-wheel drive 4matic+ and optional on the E63 4matic and+).
