2017 Volkswagen Golf R produces 310bhp from its Turbo 2.0-Liter four-cylinder engine which is 10bhp more than the pre-facelift car and the peak power of the Golf GTI Clubsport S, as well as the Honda Civic Type R.
This makes the hike makes this the fastest version of Volkswagen’s best-selling hatchback ever sold, and it is connected to the ft by a jump in torque of 20 lb, bringing the maximum number of 295lb ft.

In addition, the latest generation of Volkswagen’s online services, including an updated App-Connect function, include the Integration with the latest versions of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and mirrorlink.

2017 Golf R is not open sale in the USA, but in UK order books until February. The prices are expected to grow slightly, to the outgoing car, which starts at £31,685.
