Raising the minimum wage to 3200 UAH: Minister of social policy Reva told what will happen to subsidies for utilities

The Minister of social policy of Ukraine Andriy Reva assured that until 30 April, when the official heating season, the subsidies will not be revised and future government support will be calculated using a special formula.

government subsidies will not be revised.

In addition, he added,
what raising the minimum wage
fees of up to 3200 UAH per month will not provoke the negative effects of spending all
earned citizens money to pay utility bills, as the Cabinet
developed a special formula based on which will be calculated subsidies.

The Minister said
what if, for example, the family will add 500-600 hryvnia, then for utilities of this amount
will be paid only a certain percentage, that is 100-150 UAH.

We will remind, in the night
20 to 21 December, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the State
the budget of Ukraine. This decision was supported by 274 deputies. Thus, already with 1
January 2017 the minimum wage in the country is 3200 UAH.
