Manned spacecraft “Soyuz MS-03” docked to the ISS

Manned spacecraft “Soyuz MS-03” with a crew of three successfully docked to the Rassvet module of the ISS Russian segment, according to the state Corporation “Roscosmos” on Twitter.

This expedition is a commemorative 50th in a row. The carrier rocket “Soyuz-FG” with the spacecraft launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome in the evening of 17 November. The crew includes Russian cosmonaut Oleg Novitskiy, NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson and astronaut of the European space Agency (ESA) the Sand.

On Board the ISS will be welcomed by Russian cosmonauts Andrey Borisenko and Sergei Ryzhikov and American astronaut Robert Shane Kimbrough. They were taken to the station on October 21 spacecraft “Soyuz MS-02”.

The expedition MKS-50 will end on 25 February 2017.
