Miyazaki is working on a new feature-length cartoon

TOKYO, 14 Nov – RIA Novosti, Yekaterina Plyasunova. Japanese animated film Director Hayao Miyazaki, who announced in 2013 on the completion of a career, maybe to release the first and the last animated feature to use computer graphics to his 80th birthday.

He declared it in interview to TV channel NHK.

For the first time of his intention to remove the animated film “Caterpillar borough” with the use of computer graphics, Miyazaki announced in 2015. However, during an interview, the Director admitted that he was unhappy with the result, so decided to turn it into a feature-length cartoon.

Work on the feature film “the Caterpillar borough” can take up to five years. The official decision of the famous “Studio Ghibli” (Studio Ghibli) are still pending, however, Miyazaki has already started work on the storyboard of the film.

Hayao Miyazaki — Director of animated film, one of the founders of the Japanese Studio Ghibli, founded in 1985. Released the most famous of her paintings, “castle in the sky” (1986), “My neighbor Totoro” (1988), “spirited away” (2001) and “Ponyo on the cliff” (2008). The picture “spirited away” in 2002 received the “Oscar” in the nomination “Best animated film”. The last film directed by Miyazaki’s “the Wind rises” was released in the summer of 2013.
