The head of the National police of Ukraine Khatia Dekanoidze said about his resignation. She stated this to journalists at a briefing, transfers “Interfax-Ukraine”.
“My function is executed, in this connection, I declare my retirement,” she said. “I, as promised, within a year created the Foundation for the development of a new National police force, I remained faithful to you and your interests to the last minute of my work,” she said.
“Unfortunately, my powers and will were not sufficient to abrupt changes,” she added.
Earlier, the Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov has agreed on resignation of the head of the National police Khatia Dekanoidze, reports “Interfax-Ukraine” citing a source in the interior Ministry. He Avakov told the UNIAN news Agency that it will comment on the statement Dekanoidze on the fact of its occurrence.
The message that Dekanoidze intends to resign, appeared earlier today in the “Explorer” and “Ukrainian truth”. About it, also citing its own sources, reported the Agency “Interfax-Ukraine”.
Dekanoidze “feels great resistance, there are a lot of enemies,” gave “the Ukrainian truth” the words of the most Dekanoidze. The interlocutor of the edition “Observer” reported that the acting head of the national police will be the first Deputy Dekanoidze Vadim Trojan.
The rumors about the resignation of the head of the National police was founded in may 2016, the Ministry of internal Affairs of Ukraine left the Deputy Minister Eka Zguladze, said “Interfax”. According to the Minister of internal Affairs of Ukraine, Arsen Avakov, Zguladze was to continue working in the Ministry of interior.
Khatia Dekanoidze from July to October 2012 he held the position of Minister of education and science in Georgia.
