In “Azov” has denied the information on arrest of leaders of a battalion in Luhansk

In “Azov” has denied the information on detention of two activists of the battalion in Lugansk. This is stated in the message on the website of the press service of the battalion.

“No one called separatists detainees had not been formally involved to any regiment “Azov”, or the civil case “Azov”, — declared in a battalion.

Earlier, on 5 November, the Ministry of state security of the self-proclaimed Luhansk national Republic (LNR) stated that in Luhansk was detained leaders of the “underground branch” of the Ukrainian battalion “Azov”. Those detained were fans of FC “Zarya” (“Ultras Chorno-bili”) Artem Akhmerov born in 1997 and Vladislav Ovcharenko born in 1996. Against them criminal case under article “high treason in the form of espionage”.

According to LC, Ovcharenko and Akhmerov transferred information, which was a state secret, and also distributing extremist literature and leaflets “calling for the overthrow of the constitutional order of the Republic.” The authorities LNR also said that the activities of the group was financed by Ukrainian special services and radical organizations.
