Indigenous peoples of the North, asked Putin about the meetings

ASTRAKHAN, 31 Dec — RIA Novosti. The Deputy of the state Duma, the President of the Association of indigenous minorities of the North, Siberia and the Far East (kmns) Grigory Ledkov appealed to President of Russia Vladimir Putin with a request to meet with the leaders of minority peoples.

“All people – 40 people – ask for separate meetings. From all the Nations, we can represent 40 leaders and discuss pressing issues. And it can be a powerful impetus to the development and preservation of a unique culture in which today live on the territory of the Russian Federation”, — said Ledkov at the meeting of the presidential Council for interethnic relations in Astrakhan.
