MOSCOW, 26 Oct — RIA Novosti. Verkhovna Rada Deputy Nadiya Savchenko, previously convicted in Russia on charges of killing of journalists VGTRK in the Donbass, Wednesday morning arrived in the Russian Supreme court, which must now consider the appeal on the case of Ukrainian nationalists, Mykola Karpiuk and Stanislaus Cliche.
As the correspondent of RIA Novosti news from the event, Savchenko arrived to the courthouse around 10 o’clock in the morning. To comment before the court decision, the Deputy refused.
The process came dozens of journalists and listeners, however, the court is operating normally. Enhanced security measures have been taken.
As stated previously, RIA Novosti lawyer Savchenko Nikolai Polozov, obstacles to visit Russia it is not: “From a formal point of view, it is absolutely a free man”.
