MOSCOW, October 24 – RIA Novosti. English and Russian composers Greg Haines and Dmitry Evgrafov will perform at the Moscow planetarium on 15 November in the framework of the festival Sound Up, said on Monday the organizers of the event.
Festival of the Sound Up is a series of concerts for those interested in a new sound and new ideas. Every month at various venues in Moscow are the Russian and foreign composers and performers whose works are in the transfer area between the academic tradition and modern pop music, at the crossroads of acoustic and electronic sound experiments.
“Seventh concert at the international music festival Sound Up will take place on 15 November in the Moscow Planetarium. It will perform English composer Greg Haines (Greg Haines) and the Russian composer Dmitry Evgrafov. Especially for this event the international Studio of interactive media Sila Sveta will create a unique full-dome video projection, which will be first presented to the Russian audience”, — stated in the message.
According to the organizers, Haines, since the childhood studied to play the cello and the piano, and musical polymath, is a very versatile and active musician. In addition to his own work, he is involved in the improvisational ensemble The Alvaret Ensemble, writes music for Dutch national ballet and the Royal Opera house.

Muscovite Dmitry Evgrafov for 23 years has released five albums, including two of them on the famous English label Fat Cat. The concert Evgrafov will perform songs from last two albums, as well as some very new unpublished works.
