The Russian President will soon submit to the Duma amendments to article of the criminal code “attraction of obviously innocent to criminal liability” that increases penalties for such crimes up to 7 years in prison, said the former head of the Kremlin administration, special representative of the RF President on the issues of environmental activities, environment and transport Sergei Ivanov.

According to him, the responsibility of law enforcement officers will also occur in the case of the illegal initiation of criminal proceedings to prevent business activities, or from mercenary or other personal interest. It provides from 5 to 10 years in prison.
