In the Parliament of Georgia, according to preliminary results of the elections, held three parties. This is the official website of the Central election Commission (CEC) of the country.
After processing of 99.92% of the ballots from the polling stations, among previously trapped in the Parliament appeared the party “Alliance of patriots of Georgia.” She is gaining 5 percent or 88 thousand 32 votes, although earlier results (99,41% of processed ballots), the party did not pass the required five-percent barrier.
Leaders remain the ruling party “Georgian dream”, which is 48.6 percent, or 856 858 thousand votes, and the opposition party of ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili “United national movement” (UNM) — 27,14% (478 416 thousand votes).
On Saturday, 8 October, Georgia passed a vote in the elections to the local Parliament. Deputies to the Supreme legislative body of the Republic is elected for a four year term. The election was attended by 19 political parties and six electoral blocs. Only the Parliament of 77 MPs according to the proportional system and 73 — majoritarian.
