Putin congratulated cinema and theater actor Leonid Kuravlev with 80th anniversary

MOSCOW, 8 Feb — RIA Novosti. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin congratulated cinema and theater actor Leonid Kuravlev with the 80th anniversary and its generous talent, professional skills and hard work, informs on Saturday a press-service of the Kremlin.

Russian actor, people’s artist of Russia Leonid Vyacheslavovich Kuravlyov was born on 8 Oct 1936 in Moscow. Native element of the actor — Comedy, in which he played the most roles. Collaboration with film Director Leonid Gaidai in 1970-1980-ies brought Kuravleva all-Union fame. Among the best comedic roles of the actor — Shura Balaganov in the “Golden calf” (1968) by Mikhail Shveitser, Athanasius BORSHCHOV in the film “Afonya” (1975) George Danelia, George Miloslavsky in the movie “Ivan Vasilyevich changes profession” (1973) and Volodya Savitsky in the Comedy “can Not be” (1975) by Leonid Gaidai.
