Festival shnit international short films opened in Moscow

MOSCOW, 5 Dec – RIA Novosti. The third international short film festival shnit International Shortfilmfestival opened Wednesday at the Moscow cinema “October” in the framework of the “KARO.Art”, the organizers of the festival.

“shnit International in Moscow five days strong, touching, funny, topical, and Directors from all over the world. The theme of the festival this year is “Beyond borders”. In the framework of the international competition will showcase 60 films from around the world, divided into 10 blocks of 90 minutes. As noted by the organizers, the festival shnit appeared in 2003 in Bern (Switzerland) and in 13 years has grown the event in early October is not only in Bern but also in seven cities on four continents: Buenos Aires, Hong Kong, Cape town, Cairo, Moscow, San Jose and Bangkok. The number of viewers in these cities reaches 40 thousand people.

The winners of the festival, which will determine the international jury, will be awarded on 16 October in new York.
