ASTANA, October 3 — RIA Novosti. Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in the Kazakh capital Astana, where he will meet President of the Republic Nursultan Nazarbayev will take part in interregional cooperation Forum.
As reported earlier, the Kremlin, the two leaders will discuss topical issues of bilateral relations and integration cooperation within the Eurasian economic Union and other regional associations.
After the meeting, Putin and Nazarbayev will speak at the Russian-Kazakhstan business forum with participation of the largest businessmen of the two countries. Then the heads of state will participate in the XIII forum of interregional cooperation of Russia and Kazakhstan, the main theme of which was “Development of transport and logistics potential of the Eurasian space”.
“The agenda also issues of further reducing trade barriers between the two countries, cooperation in the field of tourism. Among the participants – heads of key ministries and departments, heads of constituent entities of the Russian Federation and regions of Kazakhstan”, — said the press service of the Kremlin.
Upon completion of the work in Kazakhstan on Tuesday, Putin will fly to Russia.
