Golodets called for the preservation of “fragile” international cultural relations

MOSCOW, October 3 – RIA Novosti. Vice-Premier of the Russian government Olga Golodets called international relations of the Russian Federation “fragile” and called for the preservation of cultural relations of Russia with other States.

“Our relations (international), they are very fragile and very precarious, and today we very much value our cultural ties,” said Golodets at the meeting of the organizing Committee of the St. Petersburg International cultural forum.

“We are today the de facto preservation of these relationships, maintaining our presence in the world in the subject of culture, it is the most important priority,” he added.

According to her, during the preparation of the forum which will be held in early December in St. Petersburg, it is necessary to pay special attention to international cooperation.

St. Petersburg international cultural forum will be held from 1 to 3 December 2016. The main venues will be the Main headquarters of the Hermitage (Central area) and the Russian ethnographic Museum (business platform). Previously, Golodets announced that it will be attended by representatives of about 100 countries.
