South Korea has resumed sales of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 after the scandal

South Korean company Samsung Electronics has resumed the sale of 7 smartphone Galaxy Note in South Korea. It is reported Yonhap, citing company representatives.

On the first day of sales, October 1, has sold 16 thousand units. According to industry analysts, which refers to TASS, in the future the sales will increase to 20 thousand smartphones per day.

In early September, Samsung asked the owners of smartphones Galaxy Note 7 with the recommendation to switch off the phone and as soon as possible to exchange them. The company registered the threat of overheating and fire devices. The reason was problems with the battery inside the smartphone has been installed, the battery is defective.

The company has recalled about 2.5 million of previously sold devices in different countries and for two days after the start of the campaign lost $22 billion.

Samsung also acknowledged that some models of its washing machines can be unsafe, after some U.S. customers complained that their washing machine blew up.
