MOSCOW, September 28 – RIA Novosti. Visitors of the Museum of fine arts (GMII) Pushkin during the closing of the main building for reconstruction will be able to see the main exposition of the Museum and at temporary exhibitions, said in an interview with RIA Novosti General Director of the Pushkin Museum Marina Loshak.
Reconstruction of the main building of the Museum is planned for 2019-2022 years.
“The exposition will be placed in temporary storage, we do exhibitions, work with it, as in all museums it happens. This technology seems to me most gentle, because most of the museums, which are in reconstruction, just closed for 10-15 years”, — said the mule.
According to her, it is planned that by the end of the main building for reconstruction will have to work all the rest of the space: the Gallery of old masters, the estate of the Golitsyns, where will the new building of the Impressionists, the Museum of personal collections in a new way, Building Stulova, new exhibition space and an outdoor Depositary.
“We will have a huge number of opportunities to work with our visitors, so it will be easier to leave the walls of our famous Museum. And after that, will open the renovated main building, which will be the final point in this journey of building a new Museum”, — said the Agency interlocutor.
