A military court in Rostov will consider the case of possible members of illegal armed groups in Dagestan

“In the North Caucasus district military court on 27 September 2016 at 10.00 will be held the first hearing in the criminal case against Rustam Magomedov, Magomed Gamzatov and Amirkhanov Kilidi, accused the organization of illegal armed groups, participation in an illegal armed group, extortion, assisting terrorist activities, illegal purchase, possession, transfer and sale of weapons and explosives,” — said the representative of the court.

According to investigators, the defendants participated in an illegal armed formation, whose goal was the violent change of the constitutional system of the Russian Federation in Dagestan and accordingly the unhindered establishment on the territory of the Republic state with Sharia form of government.

The maximum penalty for each of the five articles of the criminal code, the charges against the defendant, provided from 8 to 15 years.
