Shoigu responded to the accusations of the US of undermining world order

The Minister of defence of Russia Sergey Shoigu denied allegations of Pentagon chief Ashton Carter that Moscow “undermines the foundations of the world order”. The head of the Russian security agencies told reporters, “Interfax”.

The defense Minister urged not to “confuse the world order with the us”, stressing that its maintenance is the responsibility of the entire international community, not just the Pentagon.

“Russia has always advocated the maintenance of a just and multipolar world order in the interests of all States and not some of their group and, especially, the one power,” he added.

“It is the U.S. together with Western partners, starting from Bosnia and Kosovo to Iraq and Libya has consistently destroyed the basic foundations of the existing world order,” — said Shoigu, noting that the American side “instead of the conclusion reinforces your forehead.”

The defense Minister also called on the Pentagon to change its strategy to “then don’t make excuses everyone has the microphone for his mistakes, blaming everything on Russia, China and other countries with an independent Outlook”.

Earlier, on 7 September, the head of the Pentagon Ashton Carter has accused Russia of seeking to undermine the established world order. He noted that the US is not looking for an enemy in Russia but will defend its allies and maintain world order.
