In Moscow, police arrested 49 members of a criminal group

In the suburban town of Balashikha police arrested 49 members of an organized ethnic criminal groups. About it reports the official representative of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia Irina Wolf.

According to her, information about planned criminals meeting in a cafe Balashikha has admitted to law enforcement on August 27. The institution was to meet about 100 people who enter the criminal groups involved in committing serious crimes in the Moscow region.

In the survey conducted with the support of special forces operations were detained 49 people ranging in age from 24 to 67 years. 27 of them had actively resisted the police officers.

The representative of the Ministry noted that during the personal search of one of the detainees was seized a Makarov pistol with five cartridges. On the fact of illegal storage of the weapon, investigators opened a criminal case and sent the suspect into custody.

Six of the detainees, said the Wolf, law enforcement agencies soon will be extradited to the countries from which they came.

According to preliminary data, all the detainees by the police was engaged in kidnapping, extortion, attacks on people and other serious crimes. Currently investigators establish all the episodes of illegal activity of the detainees.
