The court sentenced the participants of the protest action in Beslan detained by the police during a memorial service for those killed in the terrorist attacks in 2004, community service and fines, reports “New newspaper”.
According to the publication, all five women held in the police Department and in the court of 14.5 hours. Emma Betrozova and Jeanne Zarichovo court ordered to pay 20 thousand rubles for the holding of meetings, rallies, demonstrations, marches or picketing at 20.2 of the administrative code. Other participants of the action — Svetlana Margieva, Ella Kesaeva, Emilia Bzarova — will have to undertake 20 hours of mandatory work under the same article.
“Novaya Gazeta” said that Fatima Chirikova, which did not take part in the action, were sentenced to forced labor. According to the opinion of the judges, she was in the group of women” and “made statements”. Participants of the action have chosen the measure of restraint, citing the decision of the inability to pay such a large sum of fine.
Participants of the protest action intend to appeal the verdict and is already on 6 September will go to the examination because some of the condemned were injured during the arrest.
