Net profit (RAS) of the Russian company “Gazprom” under IFRS attributable to shareholders and non-controlling interest for the first six months of this year decreased by 9.53% compared to the same period last year, reports “RIA Novosti” with reference to the statements of the company.
The company’s net profit in the first half of this year amounted to 625,4 billion rubles Profit that is attributable only to the shareholders of the company have declined by nearly 10% and amounted to 607,2 billion RUB compared to the same period in 2015 (675,9 billion).
Revenue increased by 5% and amounted to 3,064 trillion, the company noted that due to an increase of gas sales to Europe and other foreign countries. Revenue from the supply of gas to the region in the first half rose 19 percent, to 1,128 trillion rubles.
The net profit from the sale of gas to the countries of the former USSR amounted to 166.6 billion RUB compared to the same period last year this figure fell to 27%.
