Wednesday, August 17, in Amman, met the special envoy of the Russian President for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, said in a statement on the Russian MFA website.

Bogdanov gave Abbas a personal message of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Its content is not disclosed. During the meeting the politicians discussed prospects for the Palestinian-Israeli settlement.
