The interlocutor of Agency “Interfax” in law enforcement bodies of St.-Petersburg has informed that in an accident in the Leningrad region killed the Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the city of Pavel Soltan.

According to the source, the accident occurred at the Vyborg highway in Vsevolozhsk district of Leningrad region.

Source TASS in the city Parliament indicated that there is information that Soltan was killed and his wife and daughter were injured. According to him, the scene left the Chairman of Legislative Assembly Vyacheslav Makarov.

Soltan was born in 1961 in Leningrad. Deputy of the city Assembly he first began in 1998, and in 2012 he was Vice-speaker of the city Parliament, where he represented the “Fair Russia”.

Soltan was also the President of Federation of sports gymnastics of St. Petersburg.
