Putin meeting with Gref urged not to complicate the work of the small business

Russian President Vladimir Putin urged not to complicate the work of small businesses. He stated this at a meeting with the head of Sberbank German Gref, reported on the Kremlin website.

“It is important that nothing new appeared, which degrades the work”, — said the head of state.

The head of Sberbank, in turn, announced the launch of a joint program with the Tax authorities, which will minimize the bureaucratic procedures for small businesses. He also recalled that in September 2016, Russia will begin to act the law that allows you to open accounts, make transfers, etc. in electronic form.

“There is a great breakthrough, it will be one of the most interesting and technological regimes for small business”, — said Gref. He added that the main areas of work of his Bank are a quick and high-quality lending and help small businesses run different kinds of surveys.

At the same time, the banker admitted that the savings Bank has very high losses on the portfolio of small business. “Today we have the entire portfolio of small business, unfortunately, is unprofitable, and this is probably the biggest challenge, the biggest headache”, — he explained.

According to research by Alfa Bank, published in late July, small businesses have learned to live in a new environment and waits for market recovery. While 40% of entrepreneurs complain about the lack of funds for development, says the Bank.
