Jaguar Land Rover recalls in Russia 2152 of the Jaguar XF and XJ due to a possible malfunction of air-conditioning systems, cooling and steering. A message about a voluntary recall of cars published on the website of Rosstandart.
Under review were the Jaguar XF and Jaguar XJ 2013-2015 model years with the GTDi engines of 2 liters, we are Talking about cars produced from September 2012 to December 2015 and implemented from October 2012.
As noted by Rosstandart, on vehicles which are subject to review may be “the bolt of fastening of the intermediate pulley belt accessory drive”. This can lead to loss of the accessory drive, and air conditioning systems, cooling and steering can appear to malfunction.
The company will replace the intermediate pulley accessory drive belt assemblies on the recalled cars free of charge.
Over the past few months this is the third recall of cars of the British company Jaguar Land Rover. In may, the Russian office of the company announced the recall of 177 Jaguar XF and Jaguar XE due to a possible disconnect the engine compartment fuel feed line low pressure fuel filter. This problem, in turn, can lead to engine shutdown and the odor of fuel in the engine compartment of the vehicle.
