Russian players tested for doping before the match with England

Four Russian players checked on Friday for doping before the match with England within the European Championship in 2016, said the Agency “R-Sport” sports Minister Vitaly Mutko.

As noted Mutko, the check was at 6:30. “The team are okay with it, just some confusion that can and seven to come,” he said. Russian players are checking is not the first day, said the head of the sports Ministry, adding that “after the various films’ attention to Russian sport has increased.

“This is the fourth doping control, any problems here. Today, I checked four. Russian athletes have nothing to hide, we did one competition not hide. Right now we have the European championship I see — every day, every other day — the command check. I hope that same attitude to other teams, I hope,” said Mutko.

On Thursday the German television channel ARD showed a film about doping in Russian sports. In it, in particular, contained accusations against Vitaly Mutko. As mentioned in the investigation, Mutko was involved in the concealment of a positive doping test the player of FC “Krasnodar”.
