Rocket “Soyuz-2.1 b” with navigation satellite “GLONASS-M” was launched from the Plesetsk cosmodrome. About it reported in a press-service of the defense Ministry of Russia, reports “RIA Novosti”.
“On Sunday, may 29, 11: 45 a.m. GMT with the State test Plesetsk cosmodrome combat crews of the Space forces Air and space forces conducted a successful launch of the carrier rocket middle class “Soyuz-2.1 b” with the navigation spacecraft “GLONASS-M”, — said the Department, noting that all prelaunch operations and the launch went normally.
The defense Ministry also said that three minutes after launch, the rocket took to support ground-based means of the Main test space center name Titov Space forces VKS.
This is the third launch of the Soyuz-2.1 b rocket from Plesetsk in 2016. The previous launch took place on March 24.
