Before the disappearance of the Egyptian A320 made a turn of 360 degrees

Greek defense Ministry said that, according to the currently available picture of the missing Airbus A320 EgyptAir before disappearing made a series of drastic maneuvers, including a 360 degree turn, reports Reuters.

“At 3:39 the ship was heading South-South-East to the Islands of Karpathos and Kassos. After the liner entered the flight information region (FIR) of Cairo, he made a sharp maneuver and decrease; 90 degrees to left and then 360 degrees to the right”, — said the head of Department Panos Kammenos.

French President Francois Hollande said that the missing plane crashed. “Unfortunately, the information we have confirms that the plane crashed and are currently not found”, — said the head of state. He stressed that currently it is impossible to exclude or to call any of the main version of the incident.




The Paris Prosecutor’s office announced that it launched an investigation in connection with the incident. A320, carrying out flight MS804 from Paris to Cairo, disappeared from radar over the Mediterranean sea on the night of Thursday. On Board were 66 people: three security officers, seven crew members and 56 passengers, 15 of whom were French.
