The Latvian authorities have detained the head of the local branch of the “Night wolves”

The Latvian authorities have detained Igor lakatosz, who is the head of the regional branch of the club “Night wolves”. Soon he will be deported from the country.

As informs the Latvian Agency BNS, the information about the detention of lakatosz was confirmed by the Minister of internal Affairs of Latvia, the city hall Kozlovskis. He pointed out that the biker is on the list of persons whose entry and stay on the territory of the country undesirable for security reasons.

Lakatos is a citizen of Russia, however, according to Delfi, it is this name in Latvia in 2002 was a branch of the motorcycle club Night wolves — Night Wolves MC Latvia. In this case, the page branches on the registration portal Firmas.lv surname lakatosz is not mentioned.

In 2015, Lakatos was one of the organizer of the rally “Moscow — Berlin”, “Night wolves” was timed to 9 may. The majority of Russian bikers are unable to obtain visas, but in the run was attended by motorcyclists from the Baltic States, including Latvia.

The leader and founder of the “Night wolves” Alexander Zaldostanov in December 2014 was included in the sanctions list of the USA and the rest of his motorcycle club. Restrictive measures were imposed for their role in the events connected with the annexation of Crimea to Russia. In February 2015 Zaldostanov included in the sanctions list Canada.
