The doping of the B sample, three Russian athletes, previously found to use of Meldonium was positive. This is stated in the message of the international skating Union (ISU).
We are talking about samples of short trackers Seeds Elistratova and Ekaterina Konstantinova, and also on skater Paul Kulizhnikov.
While at ISU stated that the ISU “will strictly follow the anti-doping rules and will not make any further comment until the investigation is completed”.
That Elistratov, Kulizhnikov and Konstantinov failed a doping test for Meldonium, became known on 8 March. Then it became known that athletes require to open the sample B – it happened at the laboratory in Cologne. Now the Federation will consider the question of disciplinary punishment for athletes.
