Japanese carmaker Nissan is Recalling from the market of North America over 47 thousand Nissan Leaf electric cars because of potential problems with brakes. This was stated by the representatives of the company, reports Associated Press.
As noted by the manufacturer, the recall will affect model release 2013-2015: 46 859 vehicles sold in the U.S. and 679 implemented in Canada. These models were produced in the period from 19 November to 31 July 2012.
In Nissan explained that during the operation at low temperatures, the brakes may not work properly, which increases the probability of an accident. The company promises free, to eliminate defects.
It is also noted that the automaker is not aware of any emergency case because of this issue.
At the end of 2015, Nissan has recalled more than 1 thousand cars with models Teana of the Russian market. Cars falling under the recall, the shaped sealing ring installed on the fuel tank were produced with a non-defined specification dimensions. This could leak fuel.
