What Bixby?

Brand assistant appeared in the models QLED 2018, but only in the markets of USA and South Korea. The reason is quite banal — Bixby speaks only English and Korean. Its capabilities are also limited. Voice control does not yet work with third-party apps, but Samsung is not going to abandon his development and next year will open access service for third-party developers.

How much Google Assistant will be integrated in the TV platform is unknown. LG, for example, also has built in Assistant, but left their own universal search in WebOS. Third-party assistant can be used only for viewing photos from Google Photos, display weather forecast and calendar, to control compatible smart devices.
“Smart” sound

In November of this year, Samsung has filed several trademarks related to the sound. Mentioned including technology adjust the sound depending on the location of the TV and furnishings. It is not known when the feature can appear in commercial devices. Something like we saw in the smart speakers Apple and Google HomePod Home Max.
