What is known

On the game’s official website appeared a message that gamers warned about the closure of the project. Servers will cease to work on February 22, 2019, and the in-game shop with premium stuff was already closed. 2017 Total War: Arena never got out of beta test developers explain shutdown of server with low interest of players to the draft.

Note that the developers who created the Arena, stays in the Studio. The team will be engaged in other projects for Total War, using the experience gained while working on this game.

The lucky winners will receive Premium account for 30 days for games from the World of… Gamers who have predicted the game a bright future and invested in gold, will transfer the currency to other Wargaming projects.

Consolation prize for players will also be free content for Total War. Users can pick up Total War: a mediaval 2 — Definitive Edition or one of three supplements: Hannibal at the Gates for TW: Rome 2, Age of Charlemagne for TW: Attila and Grim and the Grave for TW: Warhammer.
