Features

Trehlistnyj SoC Exynos 9820 is made of 8-nm process (Low Power FinFET Plus), equipped with a neural processor to speed of artificial intelligence. Inside: four energy-efficient cores ARM Cortex-A55, two Cortex-A75 and a couple of unknown modified kernels of the 4th generation. According to the creators, this decision increased the productivity by 15% when multiple cores by 20% when using a single core and reduced energy consumption by 40%. The new chip Exynos 9820 installed a graphics accelerator Mali-G76 MP12, which runs 40% cooler and 35% energoekonomichnoe than its predecessor.

SoC Exynos 9820’t got 5G modem. Instead there installed LTE-Advanced Pro Cat. 20 with download speeds up to 2 Gbit/s. There is support for five-chamber module, ports UFS 2.1 and 3.0, memory format LPDDR4x, 4K displays (3840 by 2400, and 4096 by 2160 pixels), as well as shooting 8K video at 30 fps and 4K resolution with a frame rate of 150 fps.
When and where to wait

New SOC Exynos 9820 will be the first time in the flagship Galaxy S10. Later, the chip will appear in other models, but exactly where and when this will happen is still unknown.
