Specialists iFixit disassembled the new 11-inch iPad Pro and evaluated its maintainability 3 points.

Specialists iFixit, who have already dug into the new MacBook Air and Mac mini, presented a few weeks ago, finally got to a “fresh” iPad Pro, which debuted on the same day. On the table iFixit got an 11-inch version.
What’s inside

As it turned out, the battery of the novelty, double, and separates halves of the motherboard. But it is a SoC the Apple A12X Bionic, ICS operational and flash memory, Micron and Toshiba 8MBT9 D9WHG TSB3247M61710TWNA1, the NFC controller NXP and Broadcom 100VB27 BCM15900B0KWFBG and other components.

Inside the case a lot of magnets.

The verdict

In iFixit wrote in the pros of the device the absence of the home button and the possibility of replacing the USB port. But the downsides remain the same: a large amount of glue, which is very difficult to “unstick” the display without damaging it.

As a result, the maintainability of the iPad Pro has received 3 points out of 10. Not a lot, but 1 point more than last year’s Pro-shki.

But with the stylus everything is stable: it remains absolutely not suitable for repair.
