Sony has started to update its flagship 2017 Xperia XZ Premium, ZX1 and ZX1 Compact to the latest Android OS version 9 Pie. However, no hitches no cost.
What happened

According to the schedule, which Sony published about a month ago, these smartphones were supposed to get Android 9 26 Oct. But due to some bugs the update had to be postponed, and only now the owners of last year’s models began to get the firmware.

The update out gradually, so if your device haven’t received your “piece of cake” — be patient.
