Ukraine has already launched the service MobileID

From November 7 in Ukraine began to operate the service MobileID is an electronic signature that simplifies the Contracting and use of public online services. About this at the Cabinet meeting said the Minister of justice Pavel Petrenko.

According to the Minister of justice, came into force the law on electronic trust services, which allows you to use modern electronic methods of identification, including MobileID.

“The advantage of the new digital approach is to fix the real time of the signing of electronic documents. Is the protection of the business of the reliability and validity of contracts concluded online in real time,” — said Petrenko.

The Minister of justice stressed that now the Ukrainians will be able to receive public services and to sign documents using your mobile device.

To use MobileID, you need to contact the mobile operator and register with the passport and identification code of the SIM card of the new generation, which will be recorded on an individual digital signature.

Also, the government approved requirements in the sphere of electronic trust services and Procedure for verification of compliance with legislation in the sphere of electronic trust services.

We will remind, in October 2017, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the bill No. 4685 on electronic trust services. The document gives legal status to electronic identification using BankID and MobileID, but also equates the formats issued in Ukraine of electronic signatures, seals and certificates of public keys.

One of the solutions of the law was the introduction of MobileID users can without changing number to obtain a special sim-card on which is recorded the mobile digital key. It will be used to validate data at the time of confirmation of the identity of the subscriber.

In December 2017 the connection of the Mobile ID service, which allows electronic identification for e-services launched the “Kyivstar”.
