After a few days, at the developer conference SDC 2018, Samsung will lift the veil of secrecy and tell (and perhaps something will show) about your folding smartphone Galaxy F. But today it became clear that this may not called the Galaxy F.
New name

Doubt is the fact that Samsung has registered in the U.S. several brands: Infinity-Flex, Infinity-Infinity, and U-O. That’s only if the first two somehow allude to the flexibility of the display, it means that the Infinity-On — is unknown.

In addition, earlier in South Korea registered the trade mark Infinity-V Display. Now it has received registration in the United States. According to the documents, they are all designed for use with mobile devices, and screens for them.

Perhaps one of these names will become the name of the first flexible smartphone manufacturer. But it is possible that they have reserved for other devices.

Recall, Samsung is already preparing for the 2018 SDC: all image profiles in social networks have changed, logos have become curved in the form of the letter U. But most likely, the conference will preview the announcement and a full presentation of the foldable smartphone will be held after the premiere of the family of Galaxy S10 at the February exhibition MWC 2019.
